At a hearing held behind closed doors at the UEFA headquarters in Bern, Switzerland, both players pleaded their case to the UEFA appeals panel. After listening to both players' cases, the panel concluded to reduce the bans by one game each. So Drogba has a three match ban and Bosingwa has a two match ban.
