Wayne Rooney has picked up a nasty virus during Manchester United’s preseason tour in Nigeria. He hasn’t trained since their return to England and it’s looking like he’s definitely going to miss the FA Community Shield game against Portsmouth on Saturday and possibly United’s first league game against Newcastle. Michael Carrick got the same virus, but has recovered a bit faster than Roo and is looking to be available on Sunday. Did United not give their players the proper vaccinations? WTF!
